About this coffee
The Acetenango Valley is located in midwestern Guatemala. The Acetenango Volcano is the third highest peak in Central America and the area is both enriched and threatened by eruptions at nearby Volcan De Fuego.
The region's coffee production is dominated by small family farmers, some of who have organized themselves into the producing unit of the village of Quisaché. The include the farms El Manantial, La Estancia, El Porvenir (coffee we have featured in the past), La Providencia, and Watashá.
